Oxycodone Sandoz is used to relieve severe pain otherwise inappropriate to provide sufficient management of pain. The use of this product is by mouth and is available in the formulation of immediate releases and controlled releases. It contains the active ingredient oxycodone hydrochloride. The pain relief normally starts with the immediate release treatment within 15 minutes and lasts up to six hours. It is primarily used to manage severe pain that cannot be sufficiently controlled by other treatments.

Long-distance release tablets and extended-discharge capsules are employed to alleviate severe pain in people who are expected to require long-term pain medication and are unable to receive other medications around the clock. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to oxycodone hydrochloride or any of the ingredients listed at the end of the CMI. Indicated for severe, chronic, or continuous pain that requires long-term, daily opioid treatment. It functions by modifying the responses to pain in the brain and nervous system. Your doctor determines the specific dose based on your pain level and medical history after a dose increase. Your doctor will monitor you and change the dose as appropriate.
